New Melrose Board Convenes For First Time
The Affordable Housing Trust was assembled by the Mayor for its first meeting on Monday.

MELROSE, MA — The Trustees of the Melrose Affordable Housing Trust Fund held their inaugural meeting this week.
The five-person group was assembled by Mayor Jen Grigoraitis for the purpose of administering the preservation of affordable housing options within the city. Its members include Grigoraitis, Chair Amy Tierney, Vice Chair James Oosterman, Treasurer Joe Viola, and Clerk Helena Widtfeldt.
The Trust Fund recently secured an award for direct technical assistance from the Massachusetts Housing Partnership to help identify goals, strategies, and necessary procedures to focus the board’s efforts as its work begins.
