Located between Upham/Essex Streets and Grove Streets, the Victorian Fair allows the community to come together, allowing local businesses, vendors, community organizations and elected officials to meet with the public on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

The Victorian Fair's annual Center Stage is a day-long schedule of performances and entertainment located on West Foster Street near Main Street.

Organizers of the Fair say they are so fortunate to welcome back their Host and Master of Ceremonies, Julie Nolan, a Melrose resident, local comedian, volunteer, and host of The Julie Nolan Show on MMTV.

Fairgoers are invited to watch dancers, performers, martial arts students, and others show off their talents.

If you're feeling a little uncomfortable in the middle of crowds, Center Stage will be filmed and aired for all to enjoy at a later date thanks to MMTV.

The Fair will once again feature a variety of small rides and amusements (for a fee) in the parking lot behind Santa Fe Burrito, which is sure to bring smiles to the faces of our youngest fair-goers.

And if you're interested in learning how you can help your community go green, the Melrose Energy Commission will be available to help residents opt up to 100% Local Green energy through Melrose Community Power.

The Mayor's Office says volunteers will staff a booth from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to explain the rate options and help anyone interested switch on the spot and help support a "Sustainable Melrose."

The Big Ticket raffle will also be returning!

For just $10 per ticket, you can take a chance to win one of 11 incredible prizes donated by Melrose Chamber Member businesses. Some of the prizes include an outdoor holiday lighting package donated by LCM Plus, an Apple iWatch donated by Rockland Trust, a gorgeous bracelet donated by Perella Jewelers, and much more.

Purchase your raffle tickets before the Fair online here, at LCMPlus, 19 West Foster Street or Miter Biter, 479 Main Street, Melrose.

Tickets may sell out so be sure to pre-order if you're interested.

Thanks to the Melrose Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee, bike valet services will be available on East Foster Street, encouraging residents to bike to the Fair.
