When does the Melrose Whole Foods Open?

It's official: Whole Foods new Melrose location will open on Wednesday, July 24. 

The 31,513 square foot store at 880 Main Street will employ 125 full- and part-time workers, and offer all the brand's staples, including fresh pasta, prepared meats and organic produce. 

The store will also offer a small cafe area for customers to eat prepared lunches in the store. 

The public is invited to an opening ceremony that Wednesday morning at 9:45 a.m., though the regular store hours will run from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week. 

The store was announced after the closing of Johnnie's Foodmaster late last year.
