Milford Parents Arrested For Abusing 11-Month-Old Son: Police

The victim and his twin sister were taken into Department of Children and Families custody.

MILFORD, MA—Two Milford parents are facing charges for allegedly abusing their 11-month-old son, according to police. The victim and his twin sister were taken into Department of Children and Families custody based on the injuries the UMass Medical Center identified, said police.

On Friday, March 9, police arrested Jeremy Coleman and Helena McKinstry on abuse charges after an investigation by DCF and local and county authorities. They are currently held at the Milford Police Department on a cash bail of $20,000 and $10,000, respectively.

The pair will be arraigned on Monday at Milford District Court on charges of assault and battery on a child with substantial injury; and wanton or reckless conduct creating risk to child.
