MA Man Posed As Inspector To Steal $600 From Milford Dunkin'

The 40-year-old is facing multiple charges.

MILFORD, MA — A man was charged after police said he posed as an inspector and stole hundreds from a store in Milford.

Jamal Guinyard, 40, is facing multiple charges. He was accused of gaining access to over $600 in cash in an open safe while posing as an inspection officer, according to the Milford Police Department.

At around 3 p.m. on Friday, Milford officials received a call from an employee at Dunkin’ at 146 South Main St., reporting that cash had been stolen from the safe about an hour earlier.

Milford police detectives identified Guinyard as the suspect using CCTV and Flock Safety Search tools.

Guinyard of Acushnet was charged with larceny from a building, larceny under $1,200 by false pretenses, and trespassing.
