SUDBURY, MA — Back-to-school planning is well underway in Sudbury, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Sudbury Public Schools and Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Sudbury Public Schools

• First day grades 1 to 8: Aug. 30
• Labor Day: Sept. 4, no school
• First day kindergarten, pre-K: Sept. 5
• Yom Kippury: Sept. 25, no school
• Columbus/Indigenous Peoples' Day: Oct. 9, no school
• Veterans Day: Nov. 10, no school
• Thanksgiving Break: early release Nov. 22, no school on 23, 24
• Christmas Break: Dec. 25 to Jan. 1
• MLK Day: Jan. 15, no school
• February Break: Feb. 19 to 23
• Good Friday: March 29, no school
• April Vacation: April 15 to 19
• Early release: May 8, 22
• Memorial Day: May 27, no school
• Last Day: June 12 (with no snow days)
