Central Street Bridge Officially Reopens To Traffic In Milford
It remains closed to foot traffic until sidewalk construction is finished.
MILFORD, MA — The Central Street Bridge has reopened in Milford.
The bridge opened to vehicle traffic on Wednesday, but remains closed to foot traffic until the sidewalk construction is complete, according to the town's highway department. The work will continue for the next few weeks, and drivers can expect some minor traffic delays during the day.
The project was initially expected to be completed by mid-October, but unforeseen challenges, such as material shortages, engineering changes, and heavy rain, delayed the opening.
