A childhood friend of David Baltramaitis, 36, who died last week of illness, has established a memorial fund for his family on GoFundMe.com. <a href="http://www.mulhane.com/obituary/David-B.-Baltramaitis/Millbury-MA/1324425" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Baltramaitis, an insulation contractor, died Dec. 18, leaving a young son</a>. His friend, Michael Rooney of Milford, <a href="http://www.gofundme.com/5twm78" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">established the funding website to help the family cover any expenses and needs.</a> "I had always made a promise to help his family out if anything ever happened to him and I intend to keep it," Rooney wrote. "This was my true friend growing up, and I have set up this account to help defray some of the costs this holiday season." The online fund has a goal of $5,000, and has already raised more than $1,000.
