Milford Calls Early Release For School Wednesday

Kids and teachers can plan on leaving school early on Wednesday. The snow's done it again.

MILFORD, MA—The snow is coming at us again, and Worcester students are getting another partial "vacation" day, with Milford Public Schools letting classes out early on Wednesday.

Shining Star preschool will be closed. Lunches will not be served for the elementary, middle or high schools.

Dismissal time are as follows:
MHS 10:30 am
SMS 10:27 am
WES 11 am
Brookside 11:10 am
Memorial 11:10 am

The National Weather Service on Tuesday morning released a new snow total map that increases the high-end totals in parts of northern Mass. to 18-24 inches while moving the rain/snow line farther east, meaning heavier snow totals in parts of Eastern Mass. Communities north and west of Boston could now be getting up to 18 inches, while the Boston area itself, and Worcester County is still looking at 4-6 inches.
