MILFORD, MA — Milford Public Schools students will get a long weekend.
The school district canceled school on Thursday ahead of a Friday winter storm that could drop several inches of snow and create icy conditions throughout the day.
A wintry mix was expected to begin during the overnight hours, according to the National Weather Service. Milford will be under a winter weather advisory until about 7 p.m. on Friday with an inch or more of snow and a 1/4-inch of ice possible.
