Milford Cheerleading Squads Head To Regional Championship In CT
The New England competition will take place this weekend in Bridgeport, Conn.

MILFORD, MA — A group of Milford cheerleaders will head to Connecticut this weekend to compete in a regional championship featuring competitors from four New England states.

Three Milford Youth Cheerleading squads will be heading to the Regional Championship competition on Saturday. The competition will be held at the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Conn. Teams from Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire and
Rhode Island will be competing.

MYFC U10, U12 and U14 squads have qualified by placing in the top three at the State Championship competition to compete for a spot to attend the Regional Championship competition. U10 placed third, U12 placed first and U14 placed first at the State Championship contest.
"These young athletes have enormous perseverance and true grit. They have the hearts and talent of champions," MYFC Cheer Coordinator Jaylin Grenard said. "The Milford Youth Football and Cheer community is an incredibly supportive group of parents and coaches. We are all, incredibly proud of every athlete in the program."
