Milford Regional Medical Center Devoted $2.6M To Community Programs In One Year
The contributions included mental health webinars, youth fitness programs and blood drives.

MILFORD, MA — A local hospital contributed more than $2 million to community-based programs in one fiscal year.
UMass Memorial Health – Milford Regional Medical Center announced that it contributed more than $2.6 million to programs in fiscal year 2024. The money is part of a statewide initiative as the Massachusetts Hospital Association shared that hospitals in the state devoted more than $1 billion in total.
Milford Regional said that its contributions included mental health webinars, youth fitness programs, and blood drives, among other initiatives.

“Milford Regional proudly and continually enhances its community benefits through strong partnerships between our staff and local organizations to help tackle disparities and health outcomes throughout our service region," said Bert Thurlo-Walsh, the hospital's chief operating officer and Chair of the Community Benefit Committee's Leadership Team.
