Milford Man Charged With $25K Equipment Larcency

A Milford man and former construction employee was charged with larceny after he reportedly stole a high-value tool worth over $25,000.

MILFORD, MA - The Milford Police Department (MPD) charged a former local construction employee with larceny over $1,200.

According to a news release from the Milford Police Department, on March 17 the MPD responded to Milton CAT, a construction vehicle dealing company on 100 Quarry Dr., which reported an "Engine Roll Over Stand" estimated at $25,358, was missing from their headquarters.

Detectives concluded that John Denaro, 48, a former employee of Milton CAT, stole the high-value tool. Milford Police located and recovered it from Denaro's residence on April 1.

Denaro has since been charged with larceny over $1,200.
