Tell Milford Leaders How Town Should Grow: Comp Plan Survey
A new town survey seeks input on issues like I-495 development, downtown, open space and parks and more.

MILFORD, MA — What should Milford look like in the next five, ten, or twenty years? The town wants you to share your vision.
As part of the ongoing comprehensive planning process, Milford this week opened a survey seeking input from residents on subjects ranging from future downtown development to the affordability of housing and how to expand access to parks.
The short survey, available to take online, is part of the new comprehensive planning process, which officially began last month with a community forum. Milford last wrote a comprehensive plan in 2003, pre-dating big changes like the development of the I-495 corridor, the Upper Charles Trail and the construction of new schools.

Town officials have been working with the Metropolitan Area Planning Council on preparing the plan since January, but have not moved into the phase of collecting feedback from the public.
Following the survey, the town will host two public forums in the fall and in early 2025 to review what will be included in the plan. The final plan should be ready by spring 2025. For more on the planning process and to take the survey, visit the MAPC Milford comprehensive plan page.
