Milford People: Local Teen Leaves for Army in 2017

Dillon Jordan leaves for basic training on Jan. 17.

MILFORD, MA — This holiday will be extra special for one Milford family, as their son is leaving for the armed forces early next year.

Dillon Jordan, 18, has enlisted in the Army and is leaving for basic training on Jan. 18. Jordan's AIT (Advanced Individual Training) is 35 Golf - Geospatial Intelligence Imagery Analyst.

Jordan graduated from Milford High School in 2016 and was born and raised in Milford.

He has always been dedicated to whatever he puts his mind to and has always been an avid sports fan and adventurous, willing to try anything," said his parents Chris and Dawn Marie. "He wants to make a difference in the world & serving his country is the first step in his journey."
