Milford Police: Connecticut Man Charged After Accident Near Dunkin Donuts

At 12:21 a.m., a caller reported to Milford Police that he heard someone in the area of Pheasant Circle screaming to call the police.

At 12:53 a.m., a caller from the Pearl Street area filed a noise complaint.

At 1:09 a.m., a caller from Tradesman on West Street reported that one of his customers’ vehicles, a blue Mercedes-Benz, had been vandalized.

At 1:34 a.m., a man reported to police that his vehicle had been potentially stolen from a municipal lot on Main Street. Officers investigated and found the vehicle parked on an adjacent road with no signs of foul play. The man later told police he had forgotten where he’d parked.

At 12:37 p.m., police responded to an accident near Dunkin Donuts on Main Street. A child reportedly sustained an eye injury and officers subsequently arrested one Jorge Pizha-Tacuri, 24, of Jewett City, Connecticut, on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and on a warrant.

At 6:11 p.m., a caller reported that her small white-and-tan dog, which had been wearing a multicolored collar with paws on it, had gone missing in the area of East Street.

At 6:12 p.m., a caller reported that a light-green, older model jeep had been aggressively tailgating her and had turned onto Harris Avenue.
