Milford Police Officer Suspended: Report

A Milford police officer was suspended following drug-related charges from an arrest back in September.

MILFORD, MA - A Milford police officer was suspended following a drug-related arrest in Rhode Island last month, according to the Milford Daily News.

Mark Castiglione, 36, has been on leave from the department since September, the police chief said last week. Castiglione was arrested on Dec. 28 at a park in Providence, RI, amidst a drug-related investigation. He was charged with possession of fewer than 10 grams of fentanyl and possession of fewer than 10 grams of cocaine. Castiglione is set to be arraigned on Jan. 17 in a Providence district court.
