Milford Schools New Superintendent Gets Started As First Day Kicks Off

He was the former Assistant Superintendent.

MILFORD, MA — Milford Public Schools' new superintendent has officially taken the helm as the first day of school was underway.

Dr. Craig Consigli, who previously served as Assistant Superintendent, began as Superintendent last month. He won the appointment in May after Dr. Kevin McIntyre announced he would step down earlier this year.

McIntyre will officially retire in August 2026.

The school district looked within for whom to choose for the role. Consigli taught in Milford starting in 1997, and he became the Assistant Superintendent in July 2016, according to LinkedIn.

"Our new Superintendent, Dr. Craig Consigli, kicked off a day of professional work with a HIGH energy, positive vibe presentation full of enthusiasm about the work ahead this school year," wrote Milford Public Schools on social media.
