Milford Students Graduate from Colleges, Universities

These students have graduated from colleges and universities, according to notices sent to Patch.

Editor's Note: the following Milford residents are new college graduates.

Becker College: 

Rosaura Gonzalez earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Amanda J. Smyrnios earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies. Livia De Martin earned an Associate of Science degree in Nursing. Judge Greg Mathis, youth activisit and host of the award-winning television court show, "Judge Mathis," gave the keynote address.

Springfield College:

Christopher Cole has earned a bachelor's of science in Sports Biology for studies completed in 2013.

Stonehill College:

Carolyn Iacovelli graduated from Stonehill College with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Union College:

Rachel Mann graduated summa cum laude and received a Bachelor of Arts degree. Mann is a Political Science major. Christopher Sullivan graduated magna cum laude and received a Bachelor of Science degree. Sullivan is a Leadership in Medicine-Biology/Sociology major. Before the 472 Union College graduates received their degrees, civil rights leader U.S. Rep. John Lewis told the graduates to "find a way to get in the way."

University of Hartford:

Tiffany Branco, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Shelby Maloney, with a Bachelor of Science.

University of New Haven:

Lindsay Melanson graduated from the University of New Haven in May 2013 with a B.S. in Hospitality and Tourism Management.

University of Rhode Island:

Kenneth C. Tessitore received a BA in Psychology.
