Milford Veterans Get Gift Cards From Local Nonprofit

MILFORD, MA — Local veterans in need will be getting some extra support, thanks to the nonprofit Thanks To Yanks.

The charity, which serves veterans and military families, recently donated about $500 worth of CVS gift cards to the town. The cards were handed to John Pilla, Milford's Veterans Services director, who will distribute them to veterans and their families.

Michael Shain, president and founder of Thanks To Yanks, said the gift cards are meant to provide a little extra help to those who need it.
