Nearly $125K Raised At Milford Regional Foundation’s Annual Golf Classic

More than 90 people participated in the tournament.

MILFORD, MA — An annual golf tournament raised nearly a quarter of a million dollars to help support the UMass Memorial Health – Milford Regional Medical Center.

The 36th annual Milford Regional Healthcare Foundation’s Annual Golf Classic was on Aug. 18 at the Franklin Country Club. More than 90 participants and 30 volunteers helped to make the tournament's fundraising efforts a success.

The top sponsors at the event were Milton CAT, Oliva's Market and UMass Memorial Health, all donating $10,000, while around 20 more sponsors donated upwards of $2,500.

“A huge debt of gratitude goes to our dedicated donors, golfers and volunteers who helped to make this year’s Golf Classic a great success,” said Senior Director of Philanthropy Elizabeth Fleming. “Even after 36 years, this special day continues to bring together our community for a very meaningful day of giving and golf with a common purpose to support Milford Regional.”
