Nomination Papers For Milford Town Election Available Jan. 8

MILFORD, MA—Are you planning on running for office this time around in Milford?

Nomination papers for the April Town Election are available on January 8, 2018 at 8:30 a.m.

The following Elected Officials are up for re-election:

William E. Kingkade Jr. –Board of Selectmen (3 yr. term)

Joshua M. Lioce- Board of Assessors (3 yr. term)

Kenneth C. Evans- Board of Health (3 yr. term)

Joseph P. Arcudi- Park Commissioner (3 yr. term)

Jennifer M. Demanche-Yohn- Library Trustee (3 yr. term)

(1)-Library Trustee (3 yr. term)

Patrick J. Kennelly-Planning Board (5 yr. term)

Rudolph V. Lioce III- Sewer Commissioner (3 yr. term)

Scott E. Harrison-School Committee (3 yr. term)

John W. Erickson-School Committee (3 yr. term)

Michael K. Walsh-School Committee (3 yr. term)

Patrick Holland-Housing Authority (5 yr. term)

Ronald D. Gray- Vernon Grove Trustee (3 yr. term)

Mary Ann Fiske- Vernon Grove Trustee (3 yr. term)

In addition, there will be elected positions for Board of Water Commissioners also for the following terms:

  • One year term
  • Two year term
  • Three year term

In order to run for an elected office you are required to be a registered voter in Milford. You will need to obtain nomination papers between January 8, 2018-February 12, 2018. Potential candidates would need to obtain at least fifty valid signatures of registered voters in the Town of Milford.

Nomination papers will be available until 5 p.m. on February 12, 2018.

The deadline to return nomination papers will be 5 p.m. on February 14, 2018.

Ten Town Meeting Member seats in all Precincts will also be up for re-election. New potential Town Meeting Members are required to pull nomination papers and obtain at least thirty valid signatures within their own Precinct. The deadlines will be the same as listed above.
