Police Log: Caller Hears Someone Trying to Enter House, Clothes Delivered in Moldy Condition
The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. All arrests are reported. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, June 27
5:42 p.m.: A person came in to police headquarters to report illegal dumping on South Main Street.
6:44 p.m.: A woman told police her neighbors, on Spring Street, keep yelling. An officer found the only noise "was a 4-year-old girl trying to open an umbrella."
9:20 p.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters to report she had ordered clothing from a magazine, called Alloy, and they were sent to her covered in mold. They were now refusing to take them back. She asked that the information be logged.
11:32 p.m.: A caller said she was receiving threats from her boyfriend's family.
Friday, June 28
12:02 a.m.: A disturbance was reported on Lena Lane. A caller said someone was knocking at the door and she was afraid to answer the door. Police reported that the man was staying there, and the caller was not aware of this.
12:55 a.m.: An officer gave a verbal warning to a driver on Fortune Boulevard who was texting while driving.
2:35 a.m.: A caller on Chapin Street said he could hear someone trying to enter the back of his house. Police responded but could not locate the person.
9:35 a.m.: A dog was hurt on the front lawn of a man on Purchase Street. Police were attempting to locate the animal control officer.
2:11 p.m.: A caller reported a man was at La Quinta Inn, possibly intoxicated. Police responded, and called for a rescue to evaluate him.
4:19 p.m.: A caller said a woman in her 40s was laying in the woods across from a building on Water Street. Police checked and the woman was OK and on her way back to Hopedale.
