MA Theaters Offering $2 Movies For Kids This Summer

MILFORD, MA — An inexpensive (and air-conditioned) activity for kids is back for summer 2022.

Regal Theatres cinemas in Massachusetts are participating in the chain's $2 movie promotion this summer. Each week, Regal theaters across the region will show a different lineup of kids movies for a fraction of the usual cost.

"Summer Movie Express tickets are just $2 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays featuring summer movies the whole family will enjoy," the company says of the promotion.

Here's the lineup of movies each week for both the Regal Solomon Pond Mall in Marlborough and the Regal Bellingham:

• June 28 to June 29: Despicable Me 2, Space Jam
• July 5 to July 6: Sing, Puss In Boots
• July 12 to July 13: Sing 2, Space Jam: A New Legacy
• July 19 to July 20: Despicable Me 3, Tom & Jerry
• July 26 to July 27: Minions, Trolls World Tour
• Aug. 2 to Aug. 3: The Croods: A New Age, Boss Baby: Family Business
• Aug. 9 to Aug. 10: Trolls, How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World
• Aug. 16 to Aug. 17: The Secret Life of Pets, Scoob!
• Aug. 23 to Aug. 24: The Secret Life of Pets 2, Hop

If you're out of town, Regal also has cinemas near Fenway Park in Boston, at the Cape Cod Mall in Hyannis and at the Independence Mall in Kingston. Check the Regal website for show times at each theater.
