Shrewsbury Baseball Coach Inducted To State HoF: Report
A retired baseball coach who brought Shrewsbury a championship was recently inducted into the State Hall of Fame.
SHREWSBURY, MA - Dave Niro, a Milford resident and a former Shrewsbury baseball coach, was selected for the Massachusetts Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame, according to the Telegram & Gazette.
Niro coached in Milford in 1970, then in Shrewsbury where he tallied over 200 career wins. His team won the Central Mass. championship in 2000 for the first time in 22 years.
