Snow May Hit Milford on Halloween Weekend

Halloween weekend may bring a special fright for Milford—snow.

There’s a slight chance of snow on Saturday, when temperatures dip into the mid-30s at night.

“Rain showers will push eastward from the Appalachians during Friday evening into the swath from near Philadelphia to New York City, Boston and Portland, Maine,” AccuWeather said. “Wet snowflakes can mix with the rain.”

Here’s the extended forecast for Milford:

• Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high near 55.
• Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 39.
• Friday: Partly sunny with a high near 53.
• Friday Night: A chance of rain, mostly cloudy with a low around 37 (Chance of precipitation is 30 percent)
• Saturday: A chance of rain and cloudy, with a high near 42.
  (Chance of precipitation is 40 percent).
• Saturday night: A chance of rain and snow; mostly cloudy with a low around 31. (Chance of precipitation is 40 percent).
• Sunday: Partly Sunny with a high near 43.
• Sunday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 31.
