Pepper Spray Incident At Milford School Leads To Hazmat Response
Several students were exposed to the pepper spray at Stacy Middle School Wednesday afternoon.

MILFORD, MA — Students at Milford's Stacy Middle School were dismissed early Wednesday afternoon after a student used pepper spray inside the building, according to police.
Seven students were exposed to the painful spray just before 2 p.m. in the school's lobby, Superintendent Kevin McIntyre said. Around 3 p.m., police said all students were taken to neighboring Memorial Elementary School for a dismissal procedure with parents.
"At the time of the incident, we were not certain what the substance was and Milford Police, Fire, and emergency vehicles were dispatched to the school. The school was evacuated as a precautionary measure," McIntyre said in a message to parents.
