Teen Arrested Again on Breaking and Entering Charge
An 18-year-old woman faces several charges relating to a reported burglary at a home in Milford. This is her second arrest on breaking and entering this month.

Milford Police detectives have arrested an 18-year-old on breaking and entering and theft charges, three weeks after she was released by a District Court judge on a similar charge.
Keri L. Spear, 18, of 62 Forest St., Milford, was arrested Saturday and charged with breaking and entering, two counts of larceny from a building and one count of malicious destruction of property, according to police.
According to a police statement, she entered a home through an unlocked basement door, and was seen by a witness leaving the property. The witness told the homeowner when they returned, because he or she knew that her presence and exit from the basement was suspicious.
Police responded to Spear's home, and arrested her. She is accused of taking jewelry and cash from the home.
She is being held on $5,000 cash bail, pending an arraignment hearing.
Spear was charged earlier this month with breaking and entering after she reportedly attempted to enter a home on Lantern Lane while a companion distracted the homeowner.
She was released on personal recognizance at her arraignment on that charge by District Judge Robert Calagione.
In that case, according to police, the homeowner was at home and heard her doorbell ring several times. When she looked out her window, she saw a small red car parked in her driveway, and a young man in his early 20s sitting in the driver's seat.
The young man told the homeowner he had rung the bell, and explained he was looking for directions to I-495. While they were speaking, a young woman walked from around the back of her house toward the car. She asked the young woman what she was doing in the rear of her house, and the young woman, later identified as Spear, said she was looking for a lost dog.
