When Do Pools Open in Milford for the Summer?
Milford is lucky to have two public pools: the Sen. P. Eugene Casey Memorial Pool and Fino Field Memorial Pool.

UPDATED: Milford has two public swimming pools, each with its own following and features.
When are they opening?
Sen. P. Eugene Casey Memorial Pool will open today, June 29. Hours are 1 to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday for General Swim; and 6 to 7 p.m. for Family Swim. Weekend hours are noon to 6 p.m. for General Swim and 6 to 7 p.m. for Family Swim.

The pool will close for the season on Aug. 21.
Other details: Casey Pool will offer free American Red Cross swim lessons for all skill levels and ages starting at age 3. Lessons run Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon in two, three-week sessions. Registration for the first session, which runs from July 8 to 26, will be Saturday, June 22 at 9 a.m. at Casey Pool. Fino Field Memorial Pool will tentatively open on Monday, July 1. The employees have spent the past two weeks cleaning and painting the pool, and it should be ready by Monday, said Milford town parks director Mike Bresciani. New this season: renovated bathrooms!
A final decision on the pool opening will be made Monday morning.
