Pierce Middle School was on lockdown while police investigated. Police declared it had been a misunderstanding, the report said.
MILTON, MA — Police arrived at Pierce Middle School in Milton to investigate a reported gun that turned out to be a phone charger in a staff member's pocket, according to NBC Boston.
Milton police placed the school under lockdown while they investigated, the news station reported. A student had reported someone had a gun at the school, NBC Boston said.
Police declared it had been a misunderstanding, the report said.
