• A Costly Lump of Coal: How Trump's Tariffs Are Taxing Main Street This Holiday Season (americanprogress.org) — A Milton-based company, LMI Textiles, is highlighted as one of many small businesses nationwide struggling with higher costs and red tape from the Trump administration’s tariffs, especially on aluminum. Owner Legrand Lindor says tariffs have added about $80,000 in costs, hours of extra paperwork per shipment, and even forced him to cancel plans for a cost-saving warehouse expansion.
