Several intersections in the top 200 had more crashes than Randolph and Chickatawbut, but the volume of injuries placed it toward the top of the list.

In the previous report, created from data with information between 2007 and 2009, Randolph Avenue and Chickatawbut Road was sixth on the crash list. There were 125 crashes in that time frame, with 24 injury accidents.

The same intersection was 45 on the list in 2006-2008 with 66 total crashes.

The report is one of the tools used for the Statewide Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) to identify safety projects in the commonwealth.
