Police Log: Out of Control Student, Costumed Teens Cause Scare

This is an excerpt from the Milton Police Log on Friday, October 5. Where arrests or charges are mentioned does not indicate a conviction.

The following information was provided by the Milton Police Department.

  • At 12:28 a.m. Friday, a caller reported two white males in their teens moving traffic cones to block Brook Road. Officers put the cones back in place. A search for the youths yielded negative results.
  • At 2:39 a.m. Friday, Curry College Campus Safety requested assistance with an out of control student. Officers placed one adult male in protective custody.
  • At 1:21 p.m. Friday, a 911 caller reported a suspicious male chased his daughters. An officer reported several teens dressed in Halloween costumes playing a prank. The parents of the teens were notified.
  • At 3:05 p.m. Friday, a caller reported the Granite Avenue bridge was out of order. Mass. Highway, State Police, Boston Police and MBTA were notified.
  • At 10:50 p.m. Friday, Cunningham Security reported youths hanging out in the woods around a small fire. Milton Fire was notified.
