Police Searching Milton School After Bullet Found In Bathroom

MILTON, MA — Police are performing a sweep of the Milton middle school building in which a bullet was found Friday morning by a teacher.

There is currently "no active threat" at Pierce Middle School, the Milton Police Department said in a Facebook post.

An unspent 9mm round was discovered in a bathroom around 10 a.m., police said. The school is on lockdown while local officers work with ballistic K-9s from the Boston Police to thoroughly search the building.
