Troopers Arrest Two in Connection to Blue Hills Car Break-ins

Two were arrested over the weekend in connection to a string of car break-ins at the Blue Hill Reservation.

State police officers punctuated a month-long investigation into car break-ins around the Blue Hills Reservation over the weekend when troopers arrested two suspects.

Officers have followed reports after the break-ins of stolen credit cards being used. They spoke with clerks, reviewed security tapes, retrieved receipts, and were able to gather enough information to produce wanted bulletins with the pictures of the suspects and their vehicle, according to a press release from state police.

On Saturday, troopers set up a sting operation within the Blue Hills reservation. At 10:30 a.m., one of the troopers observed a vehicle that matched the one in the bulletin and was able to identify both occupants of the vehicle. They allowed the driver to park and when the occupants exited the car, they were approached and subsequently arrested.
