Week in Review: February 7-13

A look back at the happenings this week in Milton.

This week we had excitement on the ice, at the Copeland Field House and over at the Forbes House Museum.

On Wednesday evening, the Milton High team registered a crucial 4-3 win over Walpole. Derek Hurley lead the way for the Wildcats with two goals. With the win, the team improved to 8-7-2 overall and moved one step closer to a Bay State Conference tournament berth.

This week the Milton High dance and cheerleading teams also participated in an important Bay State Conference competition. The looked forward to the competition earlier in the week. We also captured of the Milton teams in action from Thursday's event.

The was busy on Sunday as they organization hosted a celebration for Abraham Lincoln's birthday. The museum is using the event as a springboard for more community outreach and more programming. 

This week, we also recognized our first Whiz Kid, a weekly feature highlighting the accomplishments of Milton kids and teens. , a Delphi Academy student recently thrived at a ballroom dancing competition. If you know a Milton Whiz Kid, email adamr@patch.com.
