Absentee Ballots Available for Spring Election

The Natick town election is April 9.


The following information was provided by Natick Town Clerk Diane Packer:

Absentee ballots for this election are now available. Absentee applications must be received no later than noon on Monday, April 8, 2013. A voter may vote absentee if he/she will be absent from Natick on election day, if a physical disability prevents him/her from voting at the polling place, or for religious beliefs which prevent the voter from voting on election day.

The last day to register to vote for this election is Wednesday, March 20, 2013. The Town Clerk’s office will remain open until 8 p.m.

Voter registration forms and absentee ballot applications are available at the Town Clerk’s Office or by going online here. Absentee ballot applications may be completed by the voter or a family member.

Please note that each precinct has a different ballot as this election includes Town Meeting candidates who are elected by precinct. In addition, there are three questions on the back of the ballot for proposed changes to the Natick Home Rule Charter. The questions are the same for each precinct. Sample ballots for each precinct are available online at www.natickma.gov.

The Town Clerk’s office is located on the first floor of Town Hall at 13 East Central St. The office hours are Monday –Wednesday 8 a.m.- 5 p.m., Thursday 8 a.m.- 8 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. -12:30 p.m. For more information please call the Town Clerk’s office at (508) 647-6430 Ext. 4.
