Consulato C. Ofria, 86, of Hyannis died in his home on Friday, Dec. 10, 2010. He was the husband of Marie A. (Viafora) Ofria, to whom he was married 56 years.
Born in Revere, the son of the late John & Edith (Brown) Ofria, Mr. Ofria served in the United States Marine Corps during WWII & was the recipient of the Good Conduct Medal. He was employed as a printer for the Harvard University Press in Allston. A devoted & loving family man, Mr. Ofria enjoyed writing & reading.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Ofria is survived by his children, John Ofria of Natick, Diane Wolsieffer & her friend Ray Richard of Osterville, Paul Ofria & his wife Victoria of Hopkinton, Kenneth Ofria & his wife Heidi Schultz of Upton, & Lynne Ofria of Garner, NC. He was the cherished grandfather of Timothy, Jacqueline, Bryan, Kristen, Casey, Leah, James, & Francesca & great-grandfather of Corianna & Alexandria. He was pre-deceased by his brother John Ofria & his beloved companion dogs, "Mitzie" & "Freddy".

Relatives & friends are invited to attend Mr. Ofria's funeral service in the Chapel of the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. (at Natick Common) on Wednesday, Dec. 15, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline.
