UPDATE: Firefighter Witnesses Argument With Knife

Police have taken a suspect into custody who allegedly took out a knife while in an argument with a driver behind the Natick Fire Department.

UPDATE: A Natick firefighter was the one to report an argument involving a knife behind the around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday night. Previous reports obtained by scanner information that the firefighter had been attacked were false.

The member of the NFD witnessed an argument between two individuals after the suspect allegedy started an altercation when a driver drove the wrong way down Clarendon Avenue, a one way road. The suspect then allegedly took out a knife in front of the driver, according to .

Police arrested the individual, Paul F. Lienhard, 52, of 20 Wilson St. 1 in Natick. He was charged with assault by means of a dangerous weapon and malicious destruction of property valued over $250.
