Center for Mentally, Physically Disabled Opens in Natick

The Justice Resource Institute recently opened the Willow Tree Day Habitation Center in Natick, a facility designed to provide services to those withΒ physical, emotional, learning related, and developmental disabilities.

State Senator Karen Spilka attended a grand opening of the center on Friday with her sister, Susie, who has down syndrome and attends theΒ Willow Tree Day Habilitation program.Β 

The 6,000 square-foot center will provide a variety ofΒ  important services for people with significant developmental disabilities, including physical therapy, speech and language development, occupational therapy, and on-site nursing and medical consultation, the center said in a press release.

The new center will serve up to 45 individuals with developmental disabilities and expands upon JRI’s other Willow Tree Day Habilitation programs in the MetroWest area.Β
