Common Street Community Church Has First Service
First service comes after eight weeks of informal gatherings.

The Common Street Community Church held their first offical service on Christmas Eve, and about 80 people turned out to worship and celebrate, according to the Boston Globe.
The new church took over the building of the former First Baptist Church in Natick, which closed due to a declining membership. The CSCC appears to be differentiating itself with it's passion and youthful exuberance, as Rev. Ian Mevorach is just 28-years-old and music minister Jonathan Hoard is just 24.
The Glove reported that Mevorach spoke about how Christmas falls just a few days after the shortest day of the year, something that is "no coincidence, because we believe something about Christ - that he brings light."
