Construction Continues Near Ben-Hem School

Here are 5 things to know today in Natick.

1. The following is a report from Principal Ian Kelly: (Thursday) morning I was out directing traffic at the entrance to the parking lot. It really seemed to help move things along so we will keep up with this practice until a functional long term solution is reached. In the meantime, please remember to use turn signals. There is a lot of traffic going in different directions and knowing the intent of drivers helps me make decisions, keep thing moving, and ensure safety.

2. The Memorial School PTO Ice Cream Social is in need of volunteers. Click the link to see where you can help:  Ice Cream Social 2013 Sign-up List.

The social will be held Sept. 27.

3. The Johnson School PTO needs volunteers for the Fall Fun Fair. The PTO theme this year is to encourage everyone to help with just one small thing. One hour of your time is asked. Shifts are needed for:

  • monitor the bounce house

  • monitor the pony rides

  • serve pizza

  • clean up

  • All volunteer shifts will be on the day of the Fun Fair, Sept. 28.

    4. Wear your Brown School shirt on Friday, Sept. 20 to show your love for your school. Don't have a Brown School shirt? No worries - just wear a red shirt.

    Friday: Mostly sunny and warm. Bit more humid too. Highs from 75-80.

    Saturday: Sun to increasing clouds. Brisk southwest winds. Mid 70s.

    Sunday: Few showers around. The start early and finish late. Some dry hours too. More humid with highs from 72-77. South wind 5-10mph.
