Create 'Green' Cards at Morse Institute Library

Here's what you need to know today in Natick.

In this hands on workshop lead by Natick artist Jeanne Williamson, patrons will create greeting cards created from recycled materials at 7:30 p.m.
Jeanne is a visual artist who combines printmaking, painting, collage, and stitching in her artwork. Her work can be seen in galleries and museums, in many books and magazines, on television, and on her website and blog.  Her newly published book Uncommon Cards, will be the inspiration for this workshop.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase.  All materials will be supplied.  Appropriate for ages 12 and up.

For more information, contact the library at 508-647-6520 or email kperkins@minlib.net.

The Christa McAuliffe Regional Charter Public School is MetroWest's only Expeditionary Learning Charter School for middle school learners!

If your child is in 4th, 5th, or 6th grade come check us out during one of our late summer or fall admissions Information Sessions! The lottery is open and so if your child is entering 6th or 7th grade NEXT YEAR (2014-15) you can submit his/her application now! Just go to www.mcaulifferegional.org and select the admissions tab.

At our Information Sessions you'll learn about about McAuliffe's Expeditionary Learning program from the Student Admissions Team and the Executive Director, Kristin Harrison. We'll ask you to reflect on your own experience in middle school, consider what you would like your child to experience in middle school, and illustrate what our program looks like from the perspective of a McAuliffe scholar. You are welcome to bring your child with you, though the event is more geared to an adult audience!
