Dave & Buster's To Open In Former Natick Sears Spot
A Dave & Buster's location is moving into the former home of Sears in the Natick Mall, and the board recently approved its licenses.

NATICK, MA—The sports bar and restaurant chain Dave & Buster's got the necessarily license approvals from the Natick Board of Selectmen to move forward with its plan to open in the Natick Mall in the spot that was formerly Sears.
The Planning Board granted necessary permits in May, and Dave & Buster's was approved unanimously at the Oct. 1 Natick Board of Selectmen meeting for its All Alcohol License, its Common Victualer’s License and its Entertainment License.
Corporate Officer Jill Valachovic and proposed manager Jason Patton attended the meeting to discuss the licenses for this full-serve restaurant and video arcade. Former board member Josh Ostroff said it might be a good idea to review the alcohol rules and regulations first, with board members suggesting perhaps postponing the vote after some research.

An attorney for Dave & Buster's reminded the board that planning had already been going on for more than a year, and that construction is underway. The board voted 4-0-0 to approve all the licenses.
The original Dave & Buster's opened in Dallas in 1982, and now there are more than 110 locations nationwide. Natick will be the third Massachusetts location.
