An individual suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries in a crash this morning on Cottage Street. The person's vehicle was traveling south on the street when it hit a tree at 12:50 a.m., Sgt. Jack Doherty of the said. The operator was transported to a Boston hospital, Doherty said. The crash remains under investigation, he said. No names were available.
