Natick Goes For Rausch, Kuchnir: Primary Election Results 2018

Here's how Natick voted in the mid-term primary election of 2018.

NATICK, MA—Voters turned out for the Massachusetts state primary election on Tuesday, Sept. 4, electing state representatives, state senators, councillors, sheriffs and other state positions.

The polls were open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Three Democrats vied to take on incumbent Republican Richard Ross in the primary election run for the state senate seat representing Norfolk, Bristol and Middlesex: Kris Aleksov, an attorney from Wayland; Jackie Katz, a Wellesley High School teacher from Norfolk; and Becca Rausch, a Needham native and attorney.The district includes part or all of Natick, Wayland, Franklin, Wellesley, Millis, Attleboro, Needham, Norfolk, North Attleborough, Plainville, Sherborn and Wrentham.

With 50 percent of precincts reporting at 10:24 p.m., Rausch lead the three-way race with 60 percent of the vote, according to the New York Times. Jacqueline Katz was in second with 33 percent.
