Game On: Natick Mom Puts Fun into Creating Healthy Eating Habits for Kids
Tracy Sivak is the creator of Raise Your Rainbow, an interactive game that teaches children how to make healthy food choices.
Natick mom Tracy Sivak has the same concerns any parent has regarding their kids: How do I get them to develop healthy eating habits?
For Sivak, the answer was easy. She created a game out of it, one that her two daughters latched on to, and has now turned that game into her own business.
Sivak is a managing member of Fresh Play LLC, which launched Raise Your Rainbow®, a healthy eating game for children ages 3 to 12. Raise Your Rainbow® challenges kids to eat 5-9 servings of colorful fruits and vegetables each day.

"It was an instant success," she says. "Myy daughters were asking me for fruits and vegetables for snacks, and at dinner they filled their plate with a rainbow of vegetables in order to win the game. We found that eating by color is a very fun and effective way to remember to eat fruits and vegetables every day."
The interactive game helps teach children how to make healthy food choices by use the colorful rainbow magnets to keep track of the fruits and vegetables they eat throughout the day. When all five bands have been raised to form a compete rainbow, they win the game.Â
