Giovanni's Pizza Closes In Natick
The pizza shop shut the ovens down for the last time over Labor Day weekend, marking the end of an era for Natick's pizza scene.
NATICK, MA — Giovanni's Home of Pizza has closed in Natick its West Central Street location.
The news prompted dozens of reactions from longtime customers, who frequented the converted home for years.
The 160 West Central St., located on the edge of the Roche Bros. plaza, first converted to a bakery before becoming a pizzeria.

Brian Cappello eventually bought the pizzeria, writing on the business website that he "loved the pizza so much he bought the place."
"Having moved to Natick from Boston I never expected to find a pizza that rivaled Pizzeria Regina's, but found it in Giovanni's," he said.

A note on the website states that there was an idea to sell the business to a new owner, but a Natick Report story reports that a potential deal fell through.
