'Go Back To Africa': Man With White Supremacist Tattoos Charged

This homeless Framingham man allegedly yelled racist slurs at Natick employees.

NATICK, MAβ€”A homeless Framingham man is facing charges after causing a disturbance in a Natick store, allegedly telling two black employees to "go back to Africa," said Natick police.

John Garner, 23, homeless, Framingham, was arrested during the week of May 13 and charged following a disturbance at the Natick Mall.

According to Natick police, Garner used several racial slurs toward employees, who are known to the Commonwealth, and followed one of those employees to the stockroom in that store.

Garner continued to verbally berate the two employees, telling them to "go back to Africa" among other racial slurs, said police.

"The defendants actions seemed to be the sole purpose of intimidating the employees based on their race," said a spokesperson for Natick police.

Garner also has white supremacist tattoo "1488"on his arms, and pushed one of the employees during this incident, according to officials. The employees told the Garner to get out of the stockroom several times but he did not comply.

When police got there, Garner was still yelling and using racial slurs, and also disobeying orders of arrest. His actions caused a significant disturbance, and several witnesses, including the employees, mall security, and customers were present during the incident, causing them alarm with his tumultuous behavior, according to police.
