NATICK, MA — Unfortunately for Natick residents, it's just about time to take the ornaments and string lights off the tree, and send it out to the curb.
Christmas trees are picked up during the first two full weeks of January in Natick on each resident's regular trash collection day.
There are requirements for the trees to be collected, however.

The trees must be bare, meaning no decorations or lights can still be on them, and the tree shouldn't be wrapped in a plastic bag. Trees should also be placed curbside on the collection day.
The last day for tree collection in Natick is Jan. 12, and collections are underway as of Tuesday.
